Allstate Air and Heat is the best air conditioning service company that I ever had the pleasure to deal with. Mr. Sandoval and his crew were friendly, professional, and did an excellent job with the installation of my new unit. Mr. Sandoval even shared with me some tips to help keep the unit running well for years to come. His prices were very reasonable, and he never pressured me into either buying a new unit or parts that would not be required for my old unit that was in place since my house was built. Before contacting this company, I read all their reviews from Nextdoor app as well as other websites, and his 5 star reviews were spot on from what I personally experienced. Joe, came by yesterday on a short notice, other AC cos. was going to be several days before they could come! One company wanted to charge me $130 for a diagnostic and another couple hundred dollars to fix the issue, I told them I knew what the problem was and not charge me the diagnostic but they said that's their policy, well my policy is not to pay for something that is already know. Thank God Joe called me and said that he had another job in the area and would come by afterward, which is what he did. He wasn't sure what the real problem was and if it didn't work he wouldn't charge me (who does that!!). Well thankfully it did work because my carpet was getting soaked and his charge was less than the diagnostic charge the other company wanted. If you have AC prolems call Joe you won't be disappointed! He's my guy from now on. ~ E E

Our air went out during some of the hotter days in July, of course. In looking online, I normally like to look around my side of town and a smaller business, as I normally have better luck with them. I hit the nail on the head with Joe and Allstate Air and Heat. He came out quickly to assess and the entire time he was at my house, explained every single test and each portion of his assessment clearly so that I could understand. I truly felt like he wasn't trying to "sell" me on anything, but rather wanted to give me the best and most honest information to make an informed choice. I had others come out, and one larger company wanted to charge 3x the price to replace one of our units. Joe's business is both fair, a great value, and work was quick and easy. Joe is a super nice guy who was referred to us by a friend. He was timely, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Most importantly to me and our limited budget, he provides pricing that is competitive, and, if you compare the pricing he provides to other similar providers, you know you're neither being scammed or price-gouged which can be such a problem in these niche services! He did great work and it's really nice being able to support a local small business that you feel like you can trust. How rare is a perfect 5 stars in ratings? Because of that, I knew they would be busy. I called Joe hoping just to schedule an appointment but he fit me in the same day because his team had big jobs lined up the rest of the week. He arrived on time and was friendly and easygoing. He ran through possible issues quickly until he figured out that it was something minor. He got things going and had everything put back in place in no time. I can't recommend Allstate Air and Heat enough! I found them on the Nextdoor app. After texting Joe he came out that day and took a look at my system. I told him I was interested in getting a new system because my old one was too expensive to fix. Joe was very professional and the quote was was more than fair. He even wanted to get the old one up and running free of charge but I didn't want him wasting his time on it. Joe offers better customer service, a reasonable price and financing if needed. Joe installed a brand new 5 ton ac/ heat pump unit at my home today. His price quote for installation of my new unit was very reasonable. I have no problem paying someone that going to give me my moneys worth and Joe did just that. I couldn’t be more pleased with his professionalism , his attention to the installation details that make a difference to get the most efficient performance of my new unit. He explained in detail the operation and the unit and if I ever had any questions to call him anytime . It’s hard to find this kind of service these days!!! I was nervous and terrified at the thought of needing a new AC unit. Joe came out and explained all the diagnostics he was performing to help me understand what my options were. I am not an AC tech so he explained them in ways I felt comfortable with. I never got the impression he was rushed or annoyed with my questions. Let me start out by saying Joe is absolutely the best and knows exactly what he’s doing! My coworker Yolanda and her husband referred me to Joe and I couldn’t be more grateful. I had two other AC companies come out before he did and right away they wanted me to get a whole new system installed. I called Joe and right away he said I can be there today I’ll let you know what time I’m on my way. He came while I was at work and called and advised on his findings and said he could fix it he then just gave me the price and got it done the same day. He’s definitely a blessing to me coming from a small town where you have the people who dont own huge companies and fixes everyone’s AC’s in town for a small price to a big city where you have people that have commercials on tv or radio is tough! Allstate is a lifesaver! After my A/C unit went out during the brutal San Antonio summer and I was unable to fix the issue, I called around to several HVAC repair companies and the earliest I could get a tech out was in 3 days. But I called Allstate and Mr. Joe was able to come out the same day and had the problem solved in less than an hour after arriving! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed me everything he was doing so I know I wasn’t getting ripped off. Top-class service. It's about 7pm on a Monday evening on the hottest day of the year (105-8) and our A/C goes out, because of course it does. We called around to see if we could get someone to look that night but there was nothing that night if they even answer. After seeing some reviews on the Nextdoor app, we gave this company a call. It was glorious! He (Joe Sandoval) came to the house within 20 minutes (luckily, he was just finishing a job close by) and had us fixed in an hour. Amazing service!!!!! This is the only A/C company I will ever use from now on and recommend to family and friends. I had my air conditioner stop working last week when the temperatures were 100 degrees plus!!! Mr. Sandoval addressed the issue quickly and at a reasonable price. No sales pressure at all. We were experiencing problems with our AC for several days with the AC blowing warm air, I looked for a AC company with good reviews I came across Allstate AC and Heat. Experience matters! I had called an AC company the day before to help fix my unit. The tech came out told me my pressure was 538 and began checking for a pinched line. The tech spent an hr troubleshooting and finally pulled my breaker and told me not to use my AC @ (105 degrees). He charged me a service fee and left. I called Allstate Air&Heat and within 10 mins he had diagnosed my issue and preceded to fix my unit. The price was affordable and I will most definitely use them again. ~ gabe o

As I said before I would definitely use them again and we just did. Complete upgrade with 1st furnace and A/C system and a repair of a 2nd much older furnace unit to meet code. Replaced both 30 year old thermostats with digital. So much quieter running systems. Definitely will be using them from now on. 2025 Another year and Joe just did his spring check up. Joe was sent to us by God. We woke up to white smoke coming through our vents. This was so scary! He came as soon as I called, he was able to give us the right information and guide us to the best thing to do for our Heater. And best yet he is fluent in spanish-that was a big A+.
